Railway Roadbed & Ballast Symposium

The Symposium will focus on topics such as ballast & roadbed management, research & development, and current maintenance & renewal practices, with an emphasis on identifying the future needs in these areas.  Over twenty presentations will be given by top-level engineering professionals from the major railroads, consultancies and universities in North America.  International perspectives will be given by participants from Asia, Europe and Africa.  The Symposium will provide a forum for discussion of existing and developing technologies that are being pursued to help improve the performance of the track foundation.
